John Freeman was convicted of grand larceny. On 4 February 1559 he broke into the house of Agnes Graye at Thaxted and stole a jerkin (3s.), a pair of hose (7s.), a ccanvas jerkin (5s.), a purse (3s.), 2 black caps (3s. 4d.), a dagger (5s.) and a sword (8s.) from John Curlewes.
